Death. Honour. Beer. Everything is on the line as Falstaff struggles to achieve greatness in the face of an impending war, a failing friendship and a crippling addiction. The Falstaff Project is Shakespeare's Henry IV re-mastered as a roving theatre performance throughout The Artery. True to Artery style, following every performance a new local musical act hits the stage each night of the week.

The Falstaff Project is the newest work created by Thou Art Here Theatre, Edmonton's only site-sympathetic Shakespeare company. Since 2011, Thou Art Here has been adapting plays in collaboration with found space environments like The Artery. We strive for the space and the play to expand upon and highlight one another creating a brand new experience for the audience and performer. Our work has been hailed as "intelligible user-friendly Shakespeare", a "rollicking good time", and "how Shakespeare should be performed"!

Joel Crichton

Joel Crichton’s music truly defies genre. An eclectic mix containing traces of Billy Joel, Ben Folds, and Queen, it occasionally flirts with punk, polka, and musical theatre, and flies with a lyricism reminiscent of Paul Simon and Leonard Cohen. He has performed all across the Canadian prairies, California, the Iberian Peninsula, International Waters, Capo Verde, New Zealand, Italy, and Austria.
